2024 Holiday Giving Programs for Families in Need

The Salvation Army is collecting donations of holiday gifts during its Angel Tree campaign to be distributed to local families in need. A Community Christmas of Stark County will be offering holiday gift assistance with their community programs. Below is a guide of the locations and information on how families can register this holiday season.

The Salvation Army of Massillon

The Salvation Army of Massillon is accepting registration for its Christmas Assistance program. It is open to families with children ages birth-12 years old who reside in the 44646, 44647, 44648 and 44614 zip codes. Families can register at saangeltree.org. Registration is open until November 8.

The Salvation Army of Canton

Registration is open for the Salvation Army of Canton’s Christmas Assistance program. It is open to families with children ages birth-12 years old who live in the Canton area. Register at saangeltree.org. Families have until November 8 to register.

The Salvation Army of Alliance

The Salvation Army is collecting holiday gifts for children ages birth-12 who live in Alliance, Maximo and Limaville. Parents can apply at saangeltree.org or call (330)823-5188 for more information. Registration ends November 8.

A Community Christmas of Stark County

A Community Christmas of Stark County has been operating for over 60 years to bring holiday cheer to members of the community in need. They offer adopt-a-family, Christmas giving center, senior/disabled adult, and mitten tree programs. Visit their website for more information and registration details.
